The Romans were the first people to create road signs giving distance and direction to places and these were prevalent during the middle ages.

We have come a long way since then and the UK’s highway signs system was introduced on 1st January 1965. However, we have not followed all our fellow Europeans and still use non-metric distance and speed signs.

  • There are a variety of temporary and permanent highway signs. These include danger, priority, prohibitory, mandatory, information, direction and additional
  • We are experienced in the production of all types of road signs that meet the latest Department for Transport Regulations
  • Signs can be designed and produced to meet your requirements and will be in line with current regulations. They will also meet the requirements of The Police Force, The Highways Agency and other specialist road safety organisations
  • Basic signs are constructed of an aluminium sign panel with rails riveted to the back fitted to 2 aluminium or steel posts.

A site visit by one of our experts can be arranged at a time to suit you. We can discuss your requirements for road signs and take photographs of the proposed location along with the regulated dimensions. Later a proof showing the proposed sign or graphics will be submitted to you for approval.

We can offer you the complete package of design, production and fitting.
